JOB ROLE

Manage and optimize all areas of logistics operations, physical distribution and delivery of all products through selected channels with the objective of ensuring that all customers (internal and external) were served, on time and the most effective manner according to corporate procedures and guidelines.

  • PHYSICAL DISTRIBUTION
  • Ensure that all cement products are delivered to clients in good quality and on time; implement and comply to institutional processes IN ORDER TO meet customer requirements.

  • PORT OPERATIONS
  • Ensure that volume output for inbound and outbound cargo is performed to comply to institutional processes IN ORDER TO optimize safe practices and efficient port maritime operations.

  • TERMINAL OPERATIONS
  • Ensure that use of terminal facilities like Packhouse, Silo and ancillary equipment are maximized IN ORDER TO optimize utilization and manage cost efficiency.

  • INVENTORY MANAGEMENT
  • Ensure availability of products, minimize losses and breakages IN ORDER TO maintain low holding cost and inventory accuracy

  • PERSONNEL MANAGEMENT
  • Supervise personnel to ensure delivery of performance and implement corporate policies and effectively organize and motivate personnel IN ORDER TO meet departmental goals.

  • PROJECT MANAGEMENT
  • Lead and provide inputs in the conceptualization and implementation of new projects IN ORDER TO improve departmental processes and procedures.

    JOB QUALIFICATIONS

  • Must be a graduate of a Bachelor’s Degree in Administration, Engineering or relevant Supply Chain and Logistics courses
  • A minimum five (5) years of experience in a manufacturing environment or logistics service
  • Preferably with supervisory or management experience
  • With Good understanding of the logistics and supply chain functions and its relation to the overall business operation
  • Skills required : Leadership, Excellent analytical skills, teamwork / team participation, organization, multi-tasking, customer service time and project management, problem solving, and effective communications.
