Description and Requirements
Position Summary :
Responsible in the overall procurement initiative of IT requirements (hardware and software). It will cover sourcing, accreditation, canvassing, negotiation, and preparation of Purchase Order (PO).
Functional Responsibilities :
Responsible for the procurement of various IT services, hardware and software requirements of the company.
Regularly monitors and updates the delivery tracking for all POs that were issued to ensure timeliness of deliveries.
Manages vendors for any concern that will affect cost, quality and timeliness of requested items / services.
Conducts sourcing and accreditation activities to increase the pool of vendors and their competitiveness.
Facilitates the bidding process or ensures that best deal will be chosen for the company.
Assists in the provision of cost proposals needed by requesters for budgetary purposes.
Assists in the planning and implementation of special projects.
Performs tasks as needed in accordance with the Finance initiatives.
Required Experience, Education, Skills & Competencies :
At least one (1) year of Procurement / Purchasing experience
Graduate of any Bachelor's Degree
Willing to travel within / outside of Metro Manila; Good written and verbal communication (English); effective presentation skills;
self-driven; Confident and must be able to deal with people at different management level; Must be an effective team player and can work under pressure.
Highly competent in MS Excel, PowerPoint & other analytical tools
You possess a natural curiosity, analytical mind, and excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize workload and multi-task
Highly organized and proactive, with excellent attention to detail and drive to resolve issues
Amenable to work in TELUS Ortigas
