Examples are Construction Engineers, Process Engineers and Equipment Engineers.
It includes all positions which are characterized by behaving as the interface between R & D and manufacturing by producing newly developed technology into existing manufacturing processes and machines.
Examples are NPL / Launch Management, Construction Engineers, Joining & Testing, Sample Shop and Product Industrialization Group Leader.
The Operations NPL Engineer L1 leads and manages a new development project within the operations to support the project time, budget and functionality.
Responsible for the specific input and output from the discipline in support of achieving project team objectives and targets.
Due to the background and experience (s)he will require certain level of guidance from a NPL Manager L3.
Operations Management of WSS projects for different customers according to PLC and related BU processes
Participate in the quotation team
Develop operations quotes for industrialization based upon product requirement, lean principles, robust processes
Develop the Manufacturing Concept based on product architecture and requirements matching them to state of the art production processes and technologies.
Performs "Project Management" tasks within the scope of the Operations Discipline, and in accordance to customer milestones and internal requirements
Coordinate and control project activities, track the project progress, define corrective measures if deviating form the Project Plan.
Ensure FPY of project Gate releases
Actively manage stakeholder expectations, inform and involve stakeholders on a regular basis and in an appropriate manner
Ensure proper coaching to develop team members
Utilize internal and external training opportunities
Build supportive culture of cooperation and teamwork with local team and other locations.
Support corporate environmental strategy and goals
Regularly align and report the Operations project status in accordance with the valid tool and process set Qualifications Knowledge of exixting industry standards, processes and internal decision making structures (Design and Manufacturing)
Knowledge of Product Life Cycle methodology, application and tailoring(Product Life Cycle)
Knowledge of risk management, change management, review and release management (Risk Management)
Knowledge of project target costing, financial tracking and profitability analysis (Cost Tracking)
Knowledge of manufacturing processes for relevant products and components (Design and Manufacturing)
Communicate effectively with customers and / or related departments in other locations
