JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS :
The Division of General Internal Medicine is seeking a full-time Human Research Technologist I to assist in conducting research initiatives focused on exercise interventions.
We are seeking a highly motivated individual to aid in the primary research for a multi-center trial funded by the Patient Centered Outcome Research Institute (PCORI).
The successful candidate will have the desire and capacity to work with both technology and human subjects. Strong interpersonal and excellent communication skills are essential for frequent interaction with research participants.
The primary responsibilities will include :
1) Completing follow-up assessments with research participants
2) Collecting adverse event and outcomes data
3) Monitoring safety and confidentiality of project and participants
4) troubleshooting for technical problems / maintaining protocol integrity. Candidate must be detail-oriented, possess excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills.
Typically requires an Associate's degree or higher plus one year of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
This is a fixed-term appointment funded for six months from date of hire with possibility of re-funding.
