We wish to inform you that the DSWD-NCR, National Vocational Rehabilitation Center is inviting applicants for the following vacant positions :

Ø One (1)Manpower Development Officer I

Salary Grade / Salary : 11 Php 18,549.00

Qualification Standards (Per CSC MC 1, s. 1997)

Education : Bachelor’s Degree relevant to the job

Training : None Required

Experience : None Required

Eligibility : Career Service Professional / Second Level Eligibility

  • Primary Functions :

  • vTeaches vocational courses to differentially abled persons / persons with disabilities and other special groups;
  • vEvaluates skills and performance of trainees in coordination with other rehabilitation team members;
  • vPrepares and introduces new improvised instructional aides, methods and devices appropriate for types of disability and

  • vImplements social mobilization and organizes provincial federations of disabled persons;
  • vMaintains upkeep of equipment;
  • vAdministers periodic tests and evaluation to determine level of learning and performance of clients;
  • vRefers and / or administers trade tests recommendations to TESDA for proper licensure and eventual job placement;
  • vCoordinates with the rehabilitation team members in assessing clients for job placement and mainstreaming to community

  • vCoordinates with LGUs and the association to identify needs, and determine programs and services that suits local conditions and needs of clients;
  • taps resources to improve knowledge and skills for technology transfer to clients;
  • vAdvocates for support from other agencies for enhancement of skills to MDOs;
  • vPerforms other related tasks as may be assigned by the supervisor.

  • Internal staff should submit performance evaluation from immediate supervisor and performance rating which is at least very satisfactory for the last rating period (July to December 2013) :
