Marketing Director, J&J Consumer Health Philippines
The Director of Marketing, Philippines Consumer Health is a key leadership role within the Philippines organization. This is a pivotal role leading strategy, brand equity and execution on the ground for a portfolio of iconic brands and will have responsibility for leading a team of over 20 direct and indirect reports.
This position reports to the Senior Director, Consumer Health South East Asia and will be based in Manila, Philippines.
The Director will be primarily responsible for accelerating the Philippines Consumer Health business with accountability for revenue, market share and equity for the brands in the portfolio.
In addition, this person will be a key member of the Philippines J&J Enterprise leadership team and will play a key role in steering the overall company strategy in Philippines.
Specifically, the Director will :
Lead the business planning and delivery for all brands in the Consumer Health portfolio with deep understanding of the market financial plan, market needs, consumer fundamentals and customer KPIs.
Develop close partnership with all cross functional teams in the market and upstream franchise team members in the region,
Own key operational processes in the market including monthly business reviews, annual business planning, long range financial planning for the market.
Activate all marketing plans within the marketing budget aligned with management
Lead the long-range financial planning for the market in partnership with franchise / upstream teams for appropriate innovation and claims to win in the market
Develop deep understanding of consumer, customer, competitive and HCP landscape to create and execute winning plans,
Pioneer modern marketing, usage of real-time insights and analytics and agile tools
He / she will operate with agility, curiosity, and an entrepreneurial mindset to innovate, learn, and drive best in class execution.
This person will be responsible for creating a high-performance environment and culture of collaboration and innovation with cross functional partners and marketing counterparts across rest of SEA.
In addition, this person will have responsibility for coaching and developing their direct and indirect report team.
A BA degree is required. Master’s in business or marketing specialization preferred
A minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in setting a vision and executing in a similar integrated brand leadership role within a consumer-packaged goods organization, preferably with a breadth of functional and / or industry experience is required.
Experience marketing in a digital world, (i.e., social media, e-commerce, analytics, on-line) is required
Demonstrated track record of managing local marketing operations
Demonstrated track record of people development and leadership is required
Experience leading in a matrix environment and cross functional teams is required
Demonstrated financial acumen in making effective business decisions is required
Proven success in developing strategic agency partnerships to build long term brand health and business
Fluency in English is required.
