Position Summary : Provide support for users of information technology and services : Including, but not limited to : Desktops / Laptops, Other related IT hardware, Operating Systems, Applications, Security, AD Administration and Mobile Devices, Telephony Major Responsibilities :
Tests, trains and provides more complex system support for distributed computing, as assigned for one or more project phases.
Provides tactical support analyzing hardware and / or software systems, as assigned.
Provides standard and more complex technical system support, as assigned for one or more project phases.
Troubleshoots basic problems and recommends appropriate actions.
May support more complex data migration or loading requirements as assigned. SPECIFIC TASKS
Troubleshoot Basic network problems (cabling and IP).
Troubleshoot computer issues (Computer hardware, software, including Windows OS, and HP / Dell hardware).
Maintain tape backup system (checking for success, tape changing, rotation, proper storage, and restores).
Troubleshoot and provide basic Phone support with Cisco Unified Communication and Cisco Contact Center
Maintain and work closely with Regal / PTS IT on all software licensing.
Maintain and work closely with Regal / PTS IT on all IT Hardware.
Setup and Maintain Network printers from setup on network to configuration on Windows Server.
Assist and maintain local file system access.
Assist with AD User rights and account management as needed for local site.
Report and escalate IT related problems to management as needed.
Orients end-users with regards to proper use, care and accountability of assigned IT equipment as well as discuss as some of the most common IT processes and policies.
Work close with Regal / PTS IT on all / specific IT Related decisions and changes on all new system request and system modifications.
Replace and maintain any equipment. (Servers / Computers / Phones / keyboards / etc.)
Required Education / Experience / Skills :
Bachelor's degree in fields of computer science or 3+ years equivalent related experience
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent problem solver and has capacity to analyze complex issues / tasks and provide recommendations on how to best resolve the issue.
Committed to quality, takes pride in work to deliver a solution that is accurate and meets user requirements..
Dedicated team member, willing to put in extra time when needed to complete a task. Travel : Minimal Language : English
