Position Summary

Role and Responsibilities

Position Title : Estore Platform Lead

Manage Hybris-level product information. Including but not limited to :

E-Store and EPP websites’ pricing and promotions setup

Manage E-Store and EPP-related on-site merchandising in accordance with GMC and GDC guidelines. Comply with GMC-mandated processes for updating and publishing of GNB, Homepage, Explore, Offer, PFS and PCD Pages.

Monitor e-Store information validity, performance and uptime. Determine inconsistencies, points of failure and related matters.

Rectify problems or escalate issues to relevant parties in the soonest possible time Monitor website shopper visits, customer engagement and sales conversions online.

Make appropriate recommendations to optimize the e-Store conversion funnel. Monitor up-coming products for posting and sale on the SAMSUNG corporate website Support assigned initiatives to improve eStore presence, tactics, and strategies Liaise with Regional Offices and Global Headquarters or other parties in the maintenance of the SAMSUNG E-Store :

Global or local platform enhancement / modification projectsInformation sourcingLocalizationCustomizationQA / UAT

Liaise with 3rd party entities in the outsourcing of web projects

SecurityCoordinates and ensures compliance to Global / Regional HQ guidelines on website security

Act as project manager / development lead / developer for in-house projects related to E-Store; acts as liaison for outsourced projects Act as Systems Administrator, Lead Programmer, DB Administrator, UI Developer for AdHoc projects related to E-Store Act as Systems Analyst for intermediately complex projects that require structured or fuzzy logic programming Troubleshoot development stumbling blocks which require technical expertise in web programming, server-side technologies and database manipulation Implement urgent / emergency modifications in accessible sections of the corporate website and managed microsites on APAC.

Corrections / updates of other information

Post-deployment server-side code updates for audited sites with discovered vulnerabilities

Extend expertise to ad hoc requirements which involve computer-related, online, and multimedia expertise

Skills and Qualifications

Develops professional expertise by complying with company policies and procedures

Works on problems of moderate scope where analyzing situations or data requires a review on various factors

Exercises judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action

Normally receives general instructions on routine work with detailed instructions on new projects or assignments

Generally requires a bachelor's degree with a minimum 2 years related experience, or advanced degree without experience
