The position is responsible in supporting the Investments Accounting function in the timely delivery of relevant, accurate and quality financial and investment reports and data to address the requirements of various internal and external stakeholders of AIA-Philippines Group such as but not limited to the end to end Net Investment Return analysis covering all entities of AIA Philippines, Fee Income analysis, etc.

including providing quality report to Finance Heads.

  • Support achievement of FS close deadlines of Investment Accounting- related reports and information, to address Regional, Local management, statutory and regulatory requirements (e.
  • g., Quarterly IFRS templates, Net Investment Return Analysis, etc.) and ensures submission of these reports within the deadline;
  • Prepares Journal Vouchers for accurate and timely booking of investment transactions, such as; borrowings related adjustments, trust fee adjustments, etc.;
  • Prepares investment-related schedules for the annual regulatory reports (e.g., Audited Financial Statements and Annual Statements) for AIA Philippines and BPI AIA;
  • Support main audit team in the smooth management of audit requirements by the external auditors and / or regulators (i.
  • e. Insurance Commission, BIR, etc) by providing needed supporting documents and responding to queries with relevant and valuable insights

  • Reviews Net Investment Income result, investment expense and fee income and provides detailed analysis on actual result against prior periods, budget and / forecast;
  • Reviews the Net Investment Income budget during the Strategic Planning period based on the inputs provided by Investment Operations team, understand the assumptions considered and highlight to key management as necessary;
  • Prepares Balance Sheet reconciliation for investment related accounts for AIA Philippines, BPI AIA and PELAC and ensure compliance with internal controls over financial reporting;
  • Primarily responsible in setting up, testing and developing accounting handling and financial reporting requirements for newly developed products and / or further system enhancements
  • Performs other responsibilities and duties assigned by supervisor in order to meet operational and / or other requirements.
