Position Overview :

Technical Pre-sales / Solutions Consultant spearheads the consultative selling of Yondu services and products.

The role is perfect for candidates that are technically adept to potentially showcase the services and products of Yondu, and at the same time has the business acumen to listen and understand the client requirements to recommend the most optimal solution that would best position Yondu to win opportunity bids and / or unlock new opportunities.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Responsible for driving the consultative selling experience, technical scoping and solution conceptualization process on behalf of sales team to obtain client / prospect requirements and their trust.
  • Identify specific or combination of Yondu services and products that would best address the client / prospects business requirements and improve the chance of winning opportunity bids, unlocking new opportunities and growing sales cluster portfolio.
  • Drive and collaborate with subject matter experts and / or 3rd party vendors to collate effort and timeline cost estimates
  • Develop industry cluster centric solution presentation, influence roadmap and proof of concept demonstration, when needed
  • Develop solutions proposal document with scope, assumptions, cost estimate and timeline as per the requirement of clients and commitment of delivery team / 3rd party vendors
  • Provide input to appropriate sections of requests for proposal (RFPs) and requests for information (RFI)
  • Establish and maintain working relationship with Sales Team / Stakeholders, Technical Delivery Team, 3rd party vendors and most importantly with clients
  • Provide initial evaluation of 3rd party vendors products
  • Articulate alternatives in terms of cost, benefit and risk where multiple solutions exist
  • Track and understand emerging technologies that both Yondu and / or Clients can leverage on
  • Understands Yondus services and product to be able conduct sales roadshows
  • Participate in business requirements review with clients / prospects
  • Perform due diligence to complete transition and communication of won proposals scope of work and other requirements to the project delivery team
  • Participate internal and client project kick-off to support transition
  • Competency Profile :

    1. Bachelors Degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, Accounting or equivalent

    Experience :

    1. At least 4 years experience in technical presales or any equivalent technical client facing / business related role

    2. At least 2 years exposure to web and mobile application development and / or technical business analysis and / or project management

    3. At least 2 years immersion or at least have 4 projects in Banking / financial services / public sector / retail / energy & utilities / logistics / healthcare industries or have exposure to conglomerates with multiple industries is a plus

    4. Familiarity with cloud, social, mobile and big data technologies is a plus
