Senior Test Automation Engineer

  • PHI - Manila
  • Design and implement automated application testing solution, focusing on improving and enhancing systems and applications for future infrastructure and architecture generations.
  • Primary Responsibilities

  • Conduct automated functional and regression application testing to achieve business objectives and expected results for application implementation in accordance to overall direction for Asia IT
  • Assists Application Automation Test Lead, Development Manager, Project Managers, and Business Analysts in coordinating Application testing activity for stakeholders across Asia IT
  • Assist with defining a project’s scope to effectively articulate testing procedures needed
  • Assists Application Automation Test Lead, Development Manager, Project Managers, and Business Analysts in identifying areas of improvement or opportunities for efficient application development.
  • Assists Application Automation Test Lead, Development Manager and Project Managers in building and aligning test scripts and testing framework for future application implementation with Asia IT
  • Ensures delivery of business realization benefits through application features and overall function are aligned to testing procedures and test scripts
  • Serves as liaison between Business stakeholders and Development or Project team for functional testing.
  • Analyzes defects and / or test results to accurately identify areas of concern or potential points of failure within software
  • Initiates Testing initiatives to improve delivery of service to business stakeholders
  • Participates in continuous improvement activities for test automation and continuous integration practices
  • Perform scheduled and periodic testing as specified from Projects Implementations and business needs
  • Provide technical guidance and review to peers and other members of technology business unit teams

  • Required Education

    Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience

    Required Experience

    5 years relevant experience

  • Adapt and be flexible in a complex, changing environment with tight working timelines
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferably in the field of Information Technology or Engineering or Mathematics
  • Relevant Industry Qualifications
  • Very fluent, strong, clear, understandable English Communication skills
  • Preferred Education

    Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience

    Preferred Experience

  • Graduated from Information technology, computer science, computer engineering or any technical related course.
  • Applicants with work experience but not related to any aspects of the required work but has the potential for the position.
  • Intermediate knowledge in Automation Testing, Software Development Lifecycle, Agile Methodology, Insurance.
  • Preferred Knowledge

  • Intermediate knowledge in IT Application Testing methodologies
  • Intermediate knowledge in Automation Testing such as Katalon, Microfocus UFT, Selenium.
