Position Purpose :
This position is the designated People and Culture (Human Resources) Representative across the Asia Region at Winrock. This position provides support on HR compliance-related activities and strategy through implementation and execution, operational processes and tasks within People and Culture.
Position Overview :
This position reports directly to the People & Culture (PAC) Director, Global Business Partnerships and indirectly to the Regional Operations Manager (Manila).
The Regional PAC Manager will provide HR operational support in the Philippines and throughout the Asia region in partnership with headquarters in the US.
This role requires in-depth knowledge in a broad array of topics related on all employee matters such as recruiting, compensation, benefits, performance management, employee relations, etc.
This position is expected to interact with stakeholders advising in these areas using independent judgment on policies and procedures to solve challenging problems.
This position requires tact and diplomacy to persuade and / or negotiate on PAC related matters. They are responsible for the development of employment agreements and handbooks across many countries and enforce local law, rules, and regulations within the designated countries where they are assigned.
This position works with the PAC Director of Business Partnership to identify critical items that need to be elevated to Home Office to engage Senior Leadership, when needed.
They work to help align business objectives to our employees and management at Winrock.
Upcoming HRIS system design and implementation will be required for this role.
Education : BS Degree in General Business, HR or other related field or equivalent experience
Experience : 7(+) years of HR related experience. Experience working in HR in multiple countries required. Employee relations experience preferred.
Computer / Technical Skills : Proficient with MS Office
Communication Skills : Excellent verbal and written communication skills .
Language : Written and verbal English and Filipino language skills required.
Required Travel : Up to 25%.
Position-Specific Skills : Attention to detail and critical problem-solving skills. High initiative required as this position operates fairly independently from home office, so must be a self-starter.
Position must be available to join calls in the evening on a weekly or bi-weekly basis with Home Office and as-needed for project support.
There will be a larger time commitment in the evenings during the design and implementation of the upcoming HRIS system.
Physical Demands : Ability to sit in a traditional office environment and travel.
