Customer Project Manager
As a Customer Project Manager you will initiate, plan, execute commercial projects for external customers, creating agreements on and achieving project objectives, balancing schedule, cost, quality and requirements, engage during pre-sales working with different stakeholders, leading, and directing teams.
Responsible during the presales phase to assess the customer site, agreeing project scope, project risk & timelines, technical project feasibility, pre-calculation of project cost
Plays advising role in acquisition phase and is responsible for all the project phases.
Responsible for verifying & agreeing the project objectives and formulating the project plan with all project stakeholders based on the contract
Understanding of margin management to influence the margin in acquisition phase and control margin during execution
Managing relations with management representatives of customers.
Follows the processes to initiate, plan, execute, close and monitor & control the project;
Responsible for driving compliancy to applicable regulations (Quality & Regulatory / Health & Safety)
Defines the risks (project related), issues and changes of the project and develops scenarios to respond to these.
Identifies project opportunities and collaborates on that with Key Account Manager or Business Development Manager
Manages internal & external resources, the project budget, communication to all stakeholders, planning, quality, customer acceptance, transition to service, project evaluation resources, the project budget, communication to all stakeholders, planning, quality, customer acceptance, transition to service, project evaluation
Knowledge of construction phases, building information modelling and facilitation of 3D scanning
Bachelor’s Degree level education in engineering or equivalent
Qualification in business or contract management would be advantageous
Certified Project Manager; PMP highly preferred
8 - 10 years Project Management experience in equipment installation, infrastructure delivery or construction projects, in a B2B environment
Experience in contract and risk management as well as a solid understanding of the supply chain process and working with large, cross functional teams
Sound negotiation and stakeholder management experience
Fluent in English, verbal and written
High level of software literacy; MS Office suite, SAP, Oracle, Salesforce
