Stay abreast of technological advancements (latest inverters, solar modules, mounting, battery / hybrid / microgrid systems).
Take the lead in the research, evaluation and application of new technologies into our designs.
Ensure compliance to both International and Philippine Industry Code and Standards such as the PEC, NEC, IEC and National Building Code for design;
installation and O&M of PV systems.
Monitor new local regulations related to Renewable energy - (DOE, ERC, Board of Engineers, NGCP, Distribution Utilities and the like) and ensure our designs and standards adhere to LGU, PEZA or grid compliance and permitting requirements.
Provide input on new or alternative components for improved design or cost reduction.
Review specifications and recommend engineering changes to achieve solar design objectives.
Perform QA & Compliance reviews on the designs and plans made by the Design Engineers
Perform initial review of the designs and financials prepared by the Design Engineers.
Provide technical direction or support to installation teams during installation, start-up, testing, system commissioning, or performance monitoring.
10) Research and provide solution to system issues that could not be resolved by the O&M team.
In-charge in the Commissioning of the PV system to be assisted by the assigned Project Engineer.
Provide Technical Support to the Sales Team during Client Meetings
Education / License : Licensed Electrical Engineer
Work Experience : At least 3 years’ experience in solar PV industry or construction industry
Proficient in Excel, Word, AutoCAD, PVSYST
Good communication skills
Enthusiasm for Learning
Good problem-solving and critical thinking skills
Meticulous, with attention to quality
Has a background in Renewable Energy especially Solar and building electrical management; Preferred : Experience in Distribution Utility
