Your team responsibilities
Perform Quality Assurance of Reference Data for equities, bonds, derivatives and other instruments on a purely APAC Shift.
Oversee Automated processes that upload and enrich data from 3rd party vendors and internal teams. Assist Client Services resolve data challenges and queries and Act as Second level escalation support for MSCI products including RiskManager, BarraOne, Equities / ESG Indices

Your key responsibilities
Lead a team of Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) composed of finance professionals, data specialists and hybrid SMEs
Provide wider group leadership support concerning strategic issues and automation projects
Wear both individual contributor and team leader hats to maintain process expertise and robustness by being able to slot back into production if needed
Support Reporting processes in compliance with rigid regulatory requirements for Index and ESG Providers
Assist in cross training across several Sub-teams to provide functional expertise across Reference Data
Support Process Improvement projects to reduce QA time and improve accuracy by leveraging on PowerBI, Python and other tools (separate team tasked to write the codes)
Your skills and experience that will help you excel
Leadership experience preferably with a team of Finance, Quants or Data Science specialists a huge plus
Degree in Statistics, Finance, Economics, IE, MIS or Computer Science
Around 12 years of experience in Shared Service, Data Science, Risk Management, Research, Project Management or Management Consulting.
Familiarity with SQL and relational databases, preferably with Oracle a plus but not required as training will be provided.
Openness, Maturity, Attention to detail and stability under pressure a must
