Intercompany Team is responsible for transactions between BI group of companies.
Efficient management and execution of Intercompany end to end process to ensure compliance and Service Level Agreements including management and / or execution of core financial processes such as billing, invoice posting, payment proposal, cash application, closing activities and reconciliation.
Tasks & responsibilities
Responsible for the execution, compliance and maintenance of Intercompany related standard, processes and procedures as part of the GBS service portfolio.
Coordinate with Global Process Owner, Local and other GBS Center for intercompany related topics.
Ensure excellence in daily operation for assigned procedural service streams of the Intercompany team by providing end-to-end solution.
Ensure timely and accurate performance of daily Intercompany tasks in
compliance with BI rules
Responsible in administering the processes in accordance with published guidelines, standard work instructions, internal control standards and Local’s Finance and / or Corporate policies.
Liaise with auditors in preparation and completion of audit requirements related to Intercompany topics.
Posting of intercompany invoices and goods in transit
Management of GR / IR account and PO reference
Clarification of intercompany difference and issue management related to intercompany posting
Regularly update process documentations.
Seek ways to improve process.
Prompt replies on all emails on a daily basis and fast escalation of issues.
Recognize and communicate potential issues / risks with team.
Willing to accept work outside the normal scope or responsibility.
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field
2+ years of experience in accounting / finance with strong background in accounts payable and intercompany accounting process
4+ years of total working experience in accounts payable and intercompany accounting in shared service, BPO or multinational company
Knowledge in German GAAP, US GAAP, or IFRS
Good english oral and written communication skills
Good analytical and problem-solving skills
Experience in SAP or other ERP system required
Willing to work on flexible working shifts
Good customer service skills
Excellent prioritization ability and time management
