As a member of the engineering team, you will deliver robust mobile apps as directed by business constraints while respecting controls.

Writing and reviewing codes

Adhering to quality criteria and project constraints

Exploring and trying different methods to improve team productivity

Adhering to roadmaps and strategies

Meeting service levels for systems (availability, security and performance)

Influencing the direction of the overall architecture

Developing and maintaining standards of software development and components where applicable

Identifying and reducing technical debt

If you are :

A Bachelor’s Degree holder in IT / engineering or equivalent

Experienced and have deep and applied knowledge on Android Tools and system (2yrs+)

Technical savvy and has strong computer software understanding

Knowledgeable on Banking and Financial Services Industry

An effective communicator verbal and written

Flexible in working alone or with others

Taking ownership of all assigned tasks, systems and services assigned in production

Proactive in promoting Best Practices’

Available for out of hours support as required

If you can :

Deeply understand and have strong knowledge of Java for Android Development (Mobile Hybrid Web, React Native, Device Features, Story Boarding & Styling, Automated Unit Testing & UI Testing, Package & Dependency Management, Performance Tuning, Dependency Injection Framework, Internationalizing and Localization i18n & I10n, Accessibility

Put to use Design knowledge (Consuming and implementing design artefacts Adobe XD, Reusable design / styling practice)

Professionally work on Mobile Devices and interconnect in the tools (Smart Phones, Smart Watch / Wearables, Smart TV, VR)

Appreciate and work on Data / RDBMS (PostgreSQL, SQL Server, Oracle, Indexing & partitioning, Data Modeling)

Work on Continuous Integration / Tooling (Git / Gitflow, Software Branching / Merging Strategy, Test automation, Code quality tools, Builds)

Exhibit strong Cloud expertise (AWS / Azure / Google, VPC’s, Object Storage)

Showcase sound knowledge on DevOps (Hashicorp toolset, Atlassian toolset, Configuration Management, Release Management, Feature Toggling

Work on Web Services (REST, XML, API management & Blueprinting)

Understand PAAS (Containers & Docker, Virtual Machines (VMWare), Load Balancing, Proxies (forward and reverse), CDN, caching, compression, HTTP protocols & Mobile networking, TCP / IP, Mobile Analytics & Logging, Content Management System (CMS)

Appreciate processes on Security (TLS / SSL and certificates, Cryptography, JWT / SAML, Mobile App Security (Attacks and Protection), API Security

Fully recognize Operating Systems (Linux distributions particularly RHEL, iOS, Android

Read Architecture tools and apps (MVVM, VIPER, UI state and data flow management, Modular Mobile Apps, High Performance Hybrid Apps, Offline mobile applications
