DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following :
Achieve designated objectives and quotas.
Ownership and accountability for ensuring customer growth, customer satisfaction and contract renewals across their assigned segments.
Forecast and monitor daily, weekly and monthly annual sales performance.
Coach, train, assist team as required to achieve customer success.
Help resolve internal and / or external barriers to customer success.
Build and maintain strong high performance teams.
Develop strong relationships at key accounts with key decision makers and influencers, including executive sponsors.
Perform escalation calls and deal with the more difficult customers and situations.
Test and validate that effective mitigation plans exist for any risk that threatens a customer’s growth, satisfaction, or renewal.
Collaborate effectively with internal and external colleagues to build a best-in-class customer experience with the goal of making every customer a promoter of Deltek and a customer for life.
Develop key metrics to ensure staff performance and productivity and build programs to communicate, deploy, and measure the results of those programs.
Provide regular management reports as directed.
Take on additional management responsibilities as assigned outside of direct responsibilities to contribute to the overall success of the organization.
Any other tasks as assigned.
Must Have :
10+ years of account management experience
3-5 years of leadership / management experience managing large, high-volume account management teams
Possess knowledge, expertise and experience in leadership of an account management function, SaaS software business models, program management and project management
Strong leadership skills to hire, train, motivate, and build a high performance account management team
Consistent track record of meeting and exceeding quota as an individual and as a manager
Strong management and business skills required, along with a proven multi-year track record of developing deep relationships with C-
level and VP-level executives.
Proven multi-year track record of identifying and closing add-on business in the account
Demonstrated experience to seamlessly transition between conversations with C-Level execs, technical leadership and industry level business conversations.
Proven ability to lead by example and promote a friendly competitive environment
Excellent customer service and relationship development skills
Exceptional negotiation skills with the ability to overcome objections and close business
Exceptional communication, time management, organizational and follow through skills
Strong competency in development of performance and productivity metrics and the deployment of those metrics and practices.
Enthusiastic, hard-working and pleasant attitude
Candidate must be willing to work on US hours
