The opportunity

FleishmanHillard Manila has an immediate opening for HR Manager / Recruiter to support multiple offices across the South East Asia region.

The role will remotely report to the SVP of Talent Development, and will be responsible for building strong relationships with hiring managers across the region.

The ideal candidate should have 3 - 4 years of proactive, direct sourcing / recruiting experience in a fast-paced, competitive recruiting environment.

As the lead HR staff in the Manila market, this role will also oversee the HR / Operations at the Manila office.


  • Recruitment for multiple South East Asia offices. Understand the business and competitors - detailed prospect mapping and tracking.
  • Proactive outreach to prospective candidates with an ability to articulate the opportunity, the vision and culture of the agency to qualified candidates.

  • Local FH Manila HR generalist work
  • Media monitoring for competitive intelligence on people moves, competitor agency business wins, etc.
  • Providing strategic recommendations to the hiring managers on skills / qualifications; developing a recruitment / advertising plan for each role.
  • Developing job descriptions and advertisements that best capture the targeted audience.
  • Networking internally and externally; maintaining relationships with key candidate communities using both online (social media, research, etc.
  • and offline (networking events, job fairs, etc.) channels.

  • Reporting on a regular basis to the SVP on open positions, status, challenges, state of the market, etc.
  • Working with the research teams across time zones to coordinate comprehensive research for designated markets.
  • Management of University Relations program, including sourcing of qualified interns for undergraduate and graduate level internships.
