Description
JOB PURPOSE AND IMPACT
The Master Production Supervisor, collaborates with supply and inventory manager, overseeing all day-to-day master production planning activities to ensure the link between long term planning and tactical production capabilities.
We seek a professional to coordinate multiple product lines or sites with medium-high impact on working capital. In this role, you will oversee the mid-term scheduling activities allowing for effective material requirements planning and production scheduling.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Conduct performance management, talent development, succession planning and engagement.
Measure and analyze master production planning metrics targets.
Provide direct input to supply planner for assigned product or location.
Provide support and input to ensure appropriate inputs are provided to capacity capabilities and concerns.
Provide support and input to develop the detailed production schedule from the master production plan.
You will have some authority for personnel decisions related to hiring, performance, or disciplinary actions, and much of your time is spent completing the same tasks as the subordinate employees.

Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience
Minimum one year of directly related work experience
Other minimum qualifications may apply
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
One year of supervisory experience
Four years of experience in master production planning or supply planning
