Duties

A food and beverage manager oversees the day-to-day operation of a restaurant or other dining facility. He handles a number of administrative functions, from ordering food from wholesalers to training employees.

Good managerial and communication skills, a good working knowledge of meal preparation, food safety and nutrition.

Education and Training

  • Bachelor’s degree in HRM.
  • Experience

  • Min 4 years’ experience managing a busy bar / restaurant
  • Male / Female
  • Pleasing Personality, 30 years and above
  • 5'5 above for Male 5'2 above for Female
  • Qualities

  • Experience managing / coordinating banquets, functions and large group dining, including set-up, food & beverage, and program.
  • Experience in conversing with customers, handling guest complaints.
  • Experience in managing a team of wait and bar staff.
  • Experience in working with Head Chefs and coordinating dining and kitchen operations.
  • Experience with stock control procedures.
