We are looking for a Customer Development Manager to drive profitable growth for Distributor key customers. Make Nestle / distributor a business partner of choice in collaboration with Field Sales Managers and distributor partners by : (1) creating the customer business plan (2) modeling and coaching the Nestle way of selling and negotiation (3) driving excellent execution through customer coverage and service.
A day in the life of...
Define the standard routines and service that will make the Customer’s order to cash and in-store execution processes more systematic and organized.
Adhere to all Company principles and policies including Nestlé trade policy, local Sales policy, local Trade Terms, Safety and legal regulations.
Drives selling and negotiation of the customer plans
Accountable for the achievement of agreed Customer (s) targets and KPIs (Sell-Out, Trade Spend, Execution, etc.)
Ensure execution of the Customer business plan through collaboration with Distributor Sales, Field Sales Managers, Field Sales Support Executives, Regional Distributor Managers, and CCSD across distributors and regions.
Facilitate and execute the Customer engagement strategy to strengthen business relationship and support long term plans
Regularly coach Distributor Major Customer Specialist on the Nestle way of selling and the operations standards for the Customer
What will make you successful
More than 2 years in marketing or sales, and over this period has successfully delivered on KPIs, especially top and bottom line business results
Demonstrated ability to collaborate with cross functional teams
Understands all sales functions i.e. CCSD, Customer, Field
Understands distributor operations
Demonstrated ability to motivate and develop people
