Our respected client is seeking a professional with at least 5 years' experience in accounting in the automotive industry for the job of Accounting Assistant .
The job is based in The Fort, Global City, Philippines.
Key job responsibilities include :
Serve as a liaison and connect with local vendors for billings, and Australian team on timely payments
Deal with bank transfers and FOREX payments
Conduct accurate review and timely processing of payables to avoid penalties
Serve as main contact point for Auditors
Review and process expense reimbursement of local sales personnel
Process monthly sales invoices with Bureau of Customs on import issues and SEC on annual filings and other document
Assist inventory with import documentation, and safekeeping and monitoring of all contracts
Assist Australia with Ad Hoc requests from time to time
Liaise with Building Administrator, office landlord, IT support and office contractors regarding occupants' safety, office cleanliness, telecommunication, internet and LAN
Key job requirements include :
At least 2 years of working experience in related field
Preferably 1-4 years specializing in clerical, administrative support or equivalent
Has knowledge and experience with accounting statement- general ledgers, account reconciliations, AR reports, and post receipts.
Has exposure of customs, costing, goods receipts & invoicing (additional advantage)
Knowledge in PRISM / JD-Edwards operating on an IBM AS400 (additional advantage)
Required Language are English & Filipino
Working knowledge of SAP
Good in excel & other MS office applications
