National Capital RegionThe Global Manager for Network, Data Center & Cloud will be responsible for implementation, administration, configuration and maintenance of The Company’s current and future global network, data center and cloud infrastructure.
This role ensures the availability and integrity of the application technology stack necessary to support solutions running on the data center or cloud infrastructure and its corresponding global network connectivity.
The position allows for participation in global projects, providing an opportunity for the individual to collaborate with colleagues from other Company’s subsidiaries and sites.
I.Essential Functions : Works with our Hosting / Cloud provider during installations, configurations and maintenance of the various Application Server technology stack including SAP applications such as the ERP Core Component (ECC), SAP BPC, SAP BW, Exchange Infrastructure (XI), Business Objects, future HANA, S4HANA and various toolsetsInterface with internal and external IT teams for data center, cloud, server, virtualization, network, storage and database supportSetup, configure, and maintain virtual infrastructures over MS Azure, AWS, and other private or public cloud providers.
Accountable for monitoring and management of performance of the infrastructure and environment. Identifies actual or potential performance issues and resolves them in a timely manner to avoid impact to the business processes.
Recommends configuration alternatives to improve system performanceActs as focal point for services issues, patches and upgrades with the respective infrastructure providers.
Tracks and communicates all identified technical issues with the providersUnderstands and accounts for peak load, manages peak load eventsProvides second level of support for incidents and problem resolutions meeting SLO requirementsEstablishes and manages all processes, policies and standards related to operations, such as : backup, recovery, patching, upgrades, landscape design and build, high availability, instance / environment build and refreshes, batch job execution, system tuning, transports, installations, user access, etc.
Manages the processes of end user setup / change / removalCollaborates with partners and vendors on system changes and requirementsEnsures strict compliance with ICTSI’s change managementManages transports of changes between the landscapesManages the Basis team internal and external, onsite, offshore and outsourcedSupports security audits of the infrastructure and landscape, resolves and improve the security postureParticipate in tests of disaster recovery on a global and peer-
site basisAssist in research and evaluation of technology platform capabilitiesSAP HANA installation, implementations, management, performance troubleshooting, configuration, and migrations if requiredAccountable for managing private / public or hybrid cloud environmentSetup of multitenant Database Containers is an option II.

Knowledge and Experience : At least 10 - 15 years of proven experience at performing in a large global network environmentExperience of working in a virtualized environment like VMWare.
Proficient in working in Windows and Linux server environmentsHands-on experience with system refreshes, upgrades, performance tuning and batch schedulingMust have good written and verbal communication skills and be able to interact with users at all organizational levels.
Experience with system software documentation and technical writing. c.Professional Qualification and Training : Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems or related disciplineSAP certification(s) desiredExperience with SAP HANA is a plus d.
