    Project Overview : USAID BARMM Health Capacity Building Activity in the Philippines is a five (5) year project from February 2019 to February 2023.

    This project aims to support the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM) to improve access to high quality Family Planning (FP), Adolescent Sexual and Reproductive Health (SRH) services.

    Under this project, URC will : 1) comprehensively improve demand for health services; (2) increase the supply of high-quality appropriate care : and 3) foster an enabling environment in which the system can successfully operate.

    Position Overview : The FP / MCH / QI Coordinator will be supporting field level QI activities and leading on-site CME activities.

    S / he will be tasked with ensuring quality changes in the quality of FP services offered and an increase in the utilization of services. Job Description :

  • Support field level QI activities, including coaching and supportive supervision of FP and MCH;
  • Liaise with local facilities to determine priorities and engage supervisors in capacity building interventions;
  • Work with IPHOs and lead on-site CME activities;
  • Ensure measurable changes in quality of services of FP services; and
  • Ensure increase in the utilization of services.
  • Required Experience & Qualifications :

  • Masters’ degree in public health, sociology, or another related field;
  • Minimum of 7 years of working experience in the field of gender and youth and FP;
  • Previous experience in the ARMM preferable;
  • Strong previous leadership experience preferred; and
  • Strong written and spoken English and local languages.
