About the role
Working closely with the Operations Business Subject Matter Experts and the Business Improvement Team, this role assumes end-to-end responsibility for :
Identifying and promoting opportunities for the use of automation in process streamlining;
Human centered design and analysis to enhance alignment of process and the underlying information technologies and to ensure that the Bank’s strategic workflow tools and applications are used and scaled appropriately.
Offering tactical solutions while the new strategic solution or upgrades of current technology is taking its course through development, testing and delivery.
Identifying strategic automation opportunities
Day to day running of the Automation team and programme including Build activities, support and governance adherence
Ensuring alignment with the service and technology strategy and standards of the overall Australian Operations team.
The role also requires the incumbent to lead and mentor less experienced members of the Business Excellence Team, undertake peer reviews and contribute to the identification of opportunities for improvement in systems and processes.
Ensures the elicitation and documentation of the business problem, scope and deliverables for an initiative.
Analyse, design and develop solutions in accordance with business needs and departmental standards and procedures.
Construction and maintenance of Automations, EUC applications and SQL databases.
Drives standardisation of Automation assets, automation architecture across Manila and other geographies when possible.
Development and maintenance reports Global and Manila hub stakeholders.

Role Location : MDC 100 Building, Eastwood City, Libis, Quezon City, Philippines & Solaris One Building, Dela Rosa Makati City
Shuttle Services provided for staff with pick up points in Cubao & Makati
Shift Schedule : Dayshift schedules will be adhered to
To be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following -
An IT or RPA professional with extensive years of experience in business systems design and software development
Knowledge of the Bank’s available software services
Advanced skills in VBA, VB.NET, C#, Microsoft TSQL, SQL Server Reporting Services, SAS and Sharepoint or similar tools and applications.
Preferred exposure to Automation technologies such as Automation Anywhere, OpenSpan, Blue-Prism
Strong understanding and experience of the full SDLC; from problem analysis to data acquisition, solution design, development, testing and implementation.
Project management experience desirable. Strong understanding of Agile methodology is a definite plus.
Strong communication and influencing skills and experience in stakeholder engagement / management.
Tertiary qualifications in an applicable discipline
