The Account Manager’s main responsibility is to develop, implement, monitor and assess the

public relations programs and other integrated marketing activities in order to support the client’s communication objectives.

As the primary point-of-contact to the clients, he is expected to gain the support and trust of his clients and foster long-term relationship with them.

He shall work closely and harmoniously with different teams at ArdentComm including

Media & Influencer Relations, Communications, Events, Creatives, Advertising, and Digital, with assistance from account executives.

He shall report directly to the Account Director.

Detailed Tasks : Account Management

Account Management

Manage incoming and outgoing communication with clients, partner agencies (if

applicable), internal teams and stakeholders necessary for program implementation

Manage and guide the team on the day-to-day implementation of PR plan to ensure

quality and timely completion of agreed scope of work

Prepare and lead presentation on accounts review, program updates, program

strategy and campaign pitches

Monitor and manage budget allocations & costing for retainer activities and projects

Instill confidence and motivate AEs and colleagues

Manage projects using resources across ArdentComm’s capabilities

Resolve conflict with clients and internal teams

Identify opportunities to expand client relationship by cross-selling and upselling ArdentComm’s services to existing clients

Editorial

Draft press releases, executives speeches, briefing books, media advisories, reactive

statements, media pitches, awards entry, continuity script for events, social media

content for influencers, and other communication materials required by clients

Develop content strategy and message pillars

Review press releases and other press materials from AEs

Reporting

Manage all report submissions. This includes providing guidance to Account

Coordinator / Account Executive in collating, analyzing and evaluating media coverage

with appropriate metrics

Consultancy

Provide strategic counsel and strategy for publicity, reputation management, crisis

and issues management to clients and team members

Stay up to date with PR and industry trends and best practices

Stay abreast of trends, threats, and opportunities relevant to the client and its

competitors

Research and gather opportunities for publicity, influencer relations, stakeholders

relations and speaking opportunities for clients

Anticipate and escalate all concerns related to client servicing and account

management and be able to suggest recommendations to address these concerns

  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's / College Degree , Advertising / Media, Business Studies / Administration / Management, Mass Communications or equivalent.
  • At least 1 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
  • Preferably 1-4 Yrs Experienced Employees specializing in Public Relations / Communications or equivalent.
