Job Description :

  • The role of the DevOps Technical Manager is a blend of architecture, automation, application administration, testing, and people management
  • Lead in the implementation and shaping of DevOps support services and advancing IT Service Management capabilities in Manila
  • Lead initiatives to maintan an internal Platforms as a Service (PaaS) that enables product teams to build, test and deploy in a continuous delivery environment
  • Help define and set best practices for continuous testing, code management, build, deploy and release across multiple teams / products in CI / CD model
  • Transform and build a scalabale team with the right skills to support AIG DevOps initiatives
  • Effectively partner with teams across the organization including QA, internal & External Application Development Teams, business units / stakeholders, and the CTO Infrastructure team to implement DevOps / Quality Engineering Strategies.
  • Maintain a spirit of teamwork and open communication to enable success

  • Support application, testing, and engineering teams in Cloud migration activities (public, pricate, or hybrid)
  • Significant experience with Automation Frameworks & Tools and how they can leverage to deliver testing from unit to end-
  • to-end in the fastest and most efficient manner without compromising quality

  • Proven experience working with Sevice Integrators & Software product vendors on strategy and associated tool evaluations / Proof of Concepts
  • Coordinate troubleshooting activitites for system, network, performance, and other system / infrastructure issues
  • Research the latest DevOps, ensuring best practices are continuously brought into the company for continuous improvement
  • Hands on expereince in developing and leading individuals that can build frameworks and enablers / accelerators that can be integrated with tools to support automated testing solutions.
  • Provide functional and technical directions

  • Experience with Source and Build Engineering strategies that will foster a shift in quality from development through production, motivating team members
  • Provide employees with career path counselling and assignments opportunities to meet career objectives
  • Assist in the development and achievement of employee goals, annual performance evaluations
  • Job Requirements :

  • 10+ years relevant technology experience in large complex information systems and / or cloud services in a fast paced and fast evolving environment
  • At least 5 years in technology leadership role
  • 7+ years building automation and architecture frameworks that enable CI / CD
  • significant expereince in IT Service Management
  • 4+ years of Agile experience working in distirbuted model across multi-disciplinary teams, preferably 2 - 3 years in DevOps capacity
  • Through understanding of full lifecycle IT developement, QA, & Platfoem support, SDLC methodologies
  • Experience in open source & cloud technologies
  • Experience with release & change management processes
  • Strong experience with configuration management systems
  • Experience in virtualization & containerization
  • Experience in Insurance (Insurance-Tech) and / or financial services (Fin-tech) Industry preferred
  • Must have strong communication skills, presentation skills, and ownership acument
  • Excellent customer service skills
