Provides input into business decisions through the data analysis of trends and business opportunities using both standard and specialised models / systems.

Role Purpose :

  • Produce pre-existing standard reports for the various Business Units (immediate scope)
  • Create new reports forBusiness units on-demand to assist in Portfolio Analysis, Regulatory Reporting, Business Planning, Actuarial Reporting etc.
  • Responsibility :

    Generate monthly, quarterly and annual performance reports for different AO Business units

    Ensure company processes and procedures are followed when developing and maintaining reporting documentation

    Meet with and obtain requirements from business users to gather and analyse end user requirements for adhoc tasks

    Daily interactions with AO managers on reporting requirements

    Consistently manage data and identify better ways to report and maintain data

    Develop new reports through ad-hoc requests

    Assist in report automation and consolidation of existing reports

    Skills

  • Intermediate query or programming skills in SAS and / or SQL AND Microsoft Excel / Access with Visual Basic or Macro experience
  • Knowledge in reporting using various Business Intelligence tools.
  • Good business acumen
