Primary Functions :

  • Conducts of adoption and foster care forum.
  • Agency visit to provide technical assistance on case management.
  • Conduct home visits, interviews to assess capability as foster parents and adoptive parents, case conferences, collateral interviews to neighbors and barangay officials.
  • Prepares Child / Home / Parenting Capability Assessment (PCA).
  • Conducts foster care monitoring, supervised trial custody visits and prepares post placement reports.
  • Recommends issuance of consent to adoption, foster care licensed and foster placement authority.
  • Prepares letters / communication and actions to documents.
  • Prepares monthly caseload inventory / calendar of activities / individual accomplishment, semi-annual reports and unit’s quarterly MFO.
  • Handles cases for several LGUs based on area of assignment.
  • Attends to queries of walk-in clients.
  • Provides response to disaster duty whenever necessary.
  • Perform other related tasks as may be assigned.
  • Additional Requirements / Competencies :

  • Preferably with training along Domestic / Inter Country Adoption Laws
  • Preferably with relevant experience in processing Pre-Adoption (RA9523) and Domestic Adoption Programs
  • Communicating Effectively (oral & written)
  • Willing to work beyond office hours and can perform well under pressure
  • Good working relationship and with initiative
