Reporting to : Lead HR Administrator

Direct reports : N / A

Key Accountabilities Supporting the Australia Pacific HR team with operational tasks

To work towards best practice in all HR functions

Responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to :

  • Provides administrative support to Australia HR Team;
  • HRIS administration this includes new starter set up, hiring, termination and other employee details updates
  • Process leave administration in the HRIS
  • System administration for the learning portal (E3) & The Arcade
  • Prepare letters & certificates for Recognition of Service program, Employment Letters & Parental Leave Letters
  • Prepares regular reports such as 6 month PDR & End Probation, Fixed Term End Date, Work Permits, New Starter, Monthly & Quarterly Arcadis Report
  • Coordinate the nomination process for Most Valuable Player program
  • Input data to the relevant business system, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of information and notifying relevant people if there are problems or issues.
  • Access and operate various systems and processes, following procedures to ensure adherence to Arcadis policies, to process data and produce reports to facilitate decision making
  • Develop a practical understanding of how processes and systems in own area of work relate to the wider organisation.
  • Provide feedback and recommendations for improvement of processes and systems.
  • Respond to and resolve enquiries and problems, judging when to pass complex queries on to or involve others, to provide an effective service and clear advice to colleagues and customers.
  • Answer routine queries from across the business related to own area of specialism, referring the more complex professional queries to the right department / colleague
  • Performs other such HR related functions that may be assigned permanently and from time to time.
  • Qualifications, skills & experience :

  • Candidate must be a degree holder either of Human Resource Management, Psychology, or Business Administration;
  • At least 1 year work experience in similar industry (within a shared services environment would be ideal) is preferred for this position but fresh graduates are also welcome to apply;
  • Experience in using Oracle is a plus;
  • Proactive and flexible approach and positive attitude to change a continual improvement is a must;
  • Possess strong attention to detail;
  • Excellent organization and administration skills and the ability to multitask;
  • Good verbal and written communication skills;
  • High level of interpersonal skills and integrity;
  • A flexible team player with proven ability to work in a diversified culture;
  • Experience in producing detailed reports is a plus.
