The Learning Interactions Expert will do end-to-end development (following the ADDIE process) of learning experiences that will help achieve desired learning outcomes
Provide instructional design services to TaskUs clients
Conduct analysis (task, content, context, learner, performance) to determine learning needs
Determine required knowledge, skills, behaviors, and competency levels for learners
Formulate learning objectives and performance targets according to analysis findings
Define instructional design strategies
Conceptualize learning experiences, including identifying e-learning interactions that will help achieve the target learning outcomes
Conceptualize the theme (overall look and feel) of digital learning lessons
Produce lesson outlines, curriculum maps, and development briefs to communicate recommendations to stakeholders
Consult with SMEs to gather, clarify, or validate content to be used in developing instructional materials
Write informative and engaging content for different delivery methods (e.g., storyboards for e-learning, facilitator guides for instructor-led training)
Develop instructional media including (but not limited to) : interactive lessons (varying levels of interactivity), tools simulations, motion graphic instructional videos
Develop instructional materials for use in instructor-led training
Utilize assets (graphics, video) and course authoring software to develop visually appealing and modern-looking instructional media, applying visual design principles in their output
Create knowledge and skills assessments and rubrics
Facilitate train-the-trainer (T3) or knowledge transfer (KT) sessions
Overall project management
Lead the project team and keep track of development progress
Report milestone progress, risks, and red flags to managers
Identify help needed items and assist in finding mitigations to address issues or risks
Coordinate with other LX Design Team members (e.g., LMS Admins) to conduct project tasks and drive them to completion and produce output that adheres to prescribed quality standards
Communicate / coordinate with TaskUs clients to uncover and achieve learning goals
Identify opportunities and support / lead initiatives to help improve the team’s processes and output
Accomplish administrative tasks to help drive projects to timely completion and produce quality work
Participate in meetings
Continuously update and improve knowledge, skills, and behaviors related to the job
A degree in any of the following fields is a plus, but not required : Education, Educational Technology, Distance Education, Instructional Design, Multimedia Arts
A certification in any of the following fields is a plus, but not required : Educational Technology, Distance Education, Instructional Design, User Experience, Multimedia Arts
WORK EXPERIENCE :
At least 1-2 years of working experience in the related field is required
Experience developing e-learning materials is required
Training experience is an advantage but not required
TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS :
Technology literate; can easily work with new software (e.g., media development tools, office suite, and other web applications)
Experience developing instructional media with at least one e-learning authoring tool (Adobe Captivate and Articulate Storyline preferred)
OTHER SKILLS :
Demonstrated ability to make decisions by using logic to identify key facts, explore alternatives and propose quality solutions
Demonstrated ability to communicate information and ideas clearly, and concisely, verbally and in writing
Demonstrated ability to interact with peers, management and other departments in a professional manner
Strong organizational and interpersonal management skills
Ability to manage time effectively and efficiently
Self-motivated and directed with keen attention to detail
