Scope

As a Media Planner, you’ll be responsible for owning Media Strategy, Planning, Buying and Administration to ensure compliance with marketing and media objectives.

We are looking for a strategic planner to drive holistic plans that deliver results. Position works closely with senior management and agency partners to create and evaluate media strategies based on go-to-market strategies, business goals, cost, timing and competitive landscape.

The position reports directly to the Digital Activation & Media Manager and is responsible for total SEA (Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Philippines).

We are seeking someone who has a point of view, is a team player, and who can step in, harmonize the processes among the different markets and drive strategy.

Summary of Responsibilities

  • Liaison with concerned stake holders to prepare brand media / digital marketing plans that are integrated in to the overall annual brand plan in accordance with strategy and objectives
  • Effectively support in managing activities of the digital agencies, web developers and other suppliers in connection with the online initiative
  • Establishing, developing and reporting on key metrics for and evaluate programme effectiveness
  • Help create support models and guidelines for digital within the defined category for key digital tools and techniques
  • Assist in keeping abreast of trends and positioned to take advantage of relevant new developments and be a key partner in educating and transferring knowledge of digital across the marketing team
  • Assist in developing Search, OLV & Social Digital Strategies for one of the leading brands like Lysol, Shieldtox, Harpic, Vanish, Air Wick and Finish.
  • Qualifications, Skills & Experience

  • Bachelors or Masters in Media Sciences or Marketing
  • Passion for brands and understanding of how traditional & digital media can contribute to their development short and long term
  • Good consumer understanding and the ability to translate it into effective programmes
  • 3 to 5 yrs experience in consumer traditional & digital marketing with experience of campaign planning, generating creative work, media planning and buying either at client-side or at an advertising agency
  • Experience of managing TV, Radio & Print Campaigns, Website management, Digital Promotions, Lead Generation, eCRM (consumer database management), Media Research, Agency / Vendor Management & Etailing
  • Good understanding of media strategy and planning issues
  • Experience of large, global brands and multi-market project and programme delivery.
  • Regional SEA media landscape experience preferred
