Job Description

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Initiate and develop relationships with clients for business growth.
  • Stay abreast of recent industry trends.
  • Develop and maintain detailed business plans for client projects.
  • Work with management in developing timely solutions for client requirements.
  • Conduct business reviews with clients on periodic basis.
  • Contact and follow-up on qualified clients for new opportunities.
  • Address customer issues / concerns in accurate and timely manner.
  • Work closely with clients to understand the business needs and to explore opportunities for growth.
  • Provide business advice and consultancy to clients in effective manner.
  • Maintain strong knowledge of company’s products, pricing, policies etc, so as to educate clients on benefits.
  • Identify present and future business development opportunities with new and existing clients.
  • Maintain strong relationship with existing customers for business retention.
  • Minimum Qualifications

  • College Degree (preferably in the field of Business or Marketing); a Master’s Degree an advantage
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience
  • Strong executive presence
  • A sound knowledge on construction market or industry e.g. demographics, key players, opportunities, etc.
  • Willingness to travel (local and international)
  • All the key competency requirements stated below :
  • Communication : Able to effectively communicate with everyone in the workplace; persuasive and activating when making presentations;
  • well-developed written and verbal skills.

  • Customer Satisfaction : Ability to create, sustain and manage customer relationships. High Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI).
  • Building Business : Striving towards acquiring new business and Growing existing ones.
  • Integrity : Works with trustworthiness and credibility and has a clear commitment to Newcore’s core values, work ethics and principles.
  • Result Orientation : Ability to ensure meeting of project / task deliverables.
  • Initiative / Personal Drive : Ability to actively seek solutions to problems and proactively look ahead for specific opportunities for contribution
  • Leadership : Able to inspire and motivate his or her team towards a shared objective; a positive influence.
  • Interpersonal relationship : Maintains excellent relationships and connections within and outside Newcore.
