Operations The Operations organization is responsible for ensuring our customers have the smoothest, most delightful post-purchase experience possible, by managing the end-to-end supply chain from logistics, fulfillment, support, and more.

This team is deeply cross-functional and serves as the backbone for the entire company, with every department relying on the team for consistent delivery and optimization of all services we offer.

Role We are searching for an Operations Manager to take our China-based logistics and fulfillment operations to the next level.

This is a unique opportunity to steer a nascent business into one of Italic's most important divisions.Understanding of the mechanics of global e-commerce is paramount to success in this role.

By owning the elements of our supply chain in China, you will be deeply involved in how our products are delivered to buyers that have high expectations of product quality and customer service.


  • Maintain and create strong relationships with existing and new 3PLs for warehousing and fulfillment activities
  • Engage with national and international carriers to create efficient shipping route / lanes
  • Ensure proper inventory accounting in all stages of receiving, warehousing and fulfillment
  • Oversee proper fulfillment times and maintain a strong grasp on time, costs and margins
  • Create and enforce SOPs with suppliers and 3PLs to ensure smooth operations and an excellent packaging experience for our buyers
  • Conducting financial analysis to help identify cost reduction opportunities across value chain elements
  • Collect and analyze quantitative data from the logistics & fulfillment process paths to make recommendations for optimization
  • Design and maintain internal reports for managers and key stakeholders
  • Owning budgeting on a monthly, quarterly and yearly levels
  • Plan, negotiate, and book frequent ground ocean and air freight shipments when necessary
  • Requirements

  • English fluency to be able to work closely with US teams and time zones
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • 5+ years experience in a logistics or fulfillment position in a growing, high-volume e-commerce business
  • Deep expertise with cross-border fulfillment to the US required
  • Flexibility and ability to travel within a short-term notice
  • Understanding of supply chain software (WMS, OMS, or ERP) in terms of usage and integrations
  • A proven track record in improving operations and managing complex projects
  • Disciplined and extremely-organized; strong attention to detail and intrinsically-motivated
  • Ability to meet deadlines while managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Comfortable being accountable between internal teams and external suppliers
  • Solid problem solving and root cause analysis experience
