You will support teams of professionals implementing solutions to support multiple business service lines. These solutions are core to business strategy and will leverage the latest technologies in software product development, automation, vendor SaaS platforms, cloud computing, analytics, engagement team collaboration and knowledge sharing.

In addition, through your work as a hands-on application analyst, you will enjoy engaging with internal and external stakeholders to coordinate, advise and shape projects to match their needs with best-fit solutions.

Your coordination will include partnerships with various technology services delivery teams including developers, RPA analysts, systems analysts, etc.

  • As a Software Project Analyst you will work in a challenging and rewarding, hybrid role; performing business Analysis, project financial analysis, and application department operations, and some project delivery.
  • The Software Project Analyst will help create business cases for project concepts and present / submit business cases to stakeholders and leadership for project approval.
  • You will map requirements to their respective project objectives, gain stakeholder agreement and align tasks into a manageable work breakdown structure and lead a team to deliver those projects so that they meet and / or exceed expectations
  • You will create value-added project deliverables based on review and agreement with stakeholders and leadership
  • You will work with teams that are geographically dispersed and composed of all disciplines required to deliver IT solutions for our customers, including architects, BA, engineers, etc.
  • Evaluating project success criteria around resources and costs based upon agreed upon baseline plan including delivery timelines, scope, budget and quality.
  • Assess risks to project objectives and plans to deliver based on the approved business case benefits, budget and timescales.
  • Planning for, monitoring and managing change through formal change management processes and stakeholder / customer relationship management including reporting to the approved project and managing the approval or mitigation
  • Assessing return on completed projects working with business stakeholders, including regular audits, frontline observation and measurement and working in partnership with the BI and Data Science teams to consolidate performance metrics.
  • Managing some small project work including coordinating with associated project resources to enable successful and timely completion including project gates, quality assurance , and coordination with other IT departments
  • Assist in evaluations during the project close, formalizing acceptance of the project results and the benefits realized versus original project charter.
  • Performing ongoing post-project compliance audits to ensure that long-term project dependencies (business processes, user adoption, roadmap items, etc) are followed up on and that ongoing return is captured from project deliverables.
  • Performing financial analysis and cost tracking activities for IT Application services teams including periodic independent support for departmental leadership in performing detailed total cost of service and total cost of delivery analysis.
  • Communicating as required with project teams, management, customers and stakeholders including implementing and working through defined processes
  • Provide accurate and consistent weekly status reporting as required for key IT initiatives, deliverables, risk, issues and financials
  • Monitor and manage project baseline to ensure activities are occurring as planned - scope, budget and schedule and managing variances
  • Proactively identify risks and issues on projects - leading team to develop risk management and issue management plans
  • Demonstrate strong analytical and problem solving skills in leading the project team in issue resolution
  • Qualifications :

  • College Graduate preferably of Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or related field
  • At least 5 years of IT financial project analysis including labor forecasting, business case, ROI & TCO calculations, advance options modelling, service forecasting (including capital and OpEx)
  • Prefer at least 5 years of Business Analysis experience for IT projects.
  • Conduct stakeholder analysis and document them in the appropriate deliverables and align them to the project’s communication plan
  • Reviews and edits requirements, specifications, business processes and recommendations related to proposed solution
  • Work effectively with stakeholders to determine project objectives, map proper requirements to the objectives
  • Ability to be flexible in your overall commitment to speed-to-market while aligning yourself with effective project delivery
  • Prefer Lean / 6-Sigma certification and 3 years of process analysis. Identifies process strengths and weaknesses and suggests areas of improvement
  • Strengths in writing, documentation, preparing and delivering business & executive presentations and working with technical professionals to document system design specifications
  • Prefer at least 3 year(s) of working in a BPO environment
