About The Role

Pacific Equity & Loan is looking to expand our loan processing team. We are in search of a full-time Loan Origination Assistant who will be responsible for assisting loan processors in various tasks in order to close role is a fantastic opportunity to kick-start your career in loan processing / finance and provides a great opportunity for growth within a rapidly expanding US company.

He / she will be reporting directly to the Loan Officer.

Primary responsibilities :

  • Collect, organize, and track borrower documentation
  • Communicate and relay information between the borrower and the sales / processing team
  • Work with third party Title and Escrow companies to ensure a smooth closing
  • Maintain borrower and vendor relationships
  • Understand processing requirements well enough to answer borrower and vendor questions while resolving their concerns.
  • Build and maintain organized files across assorted platforms.
  • Secondary responsibilities :

  • Continue to improve skills and knowledge to become a loan processor
  • Develop a relationship with the borrower to gain trust and repeat business
  • Duties and Tasks :

  • Receive initial loan application
  • Set up borrower files across multiple systems
  • Send needs lists to borrower regarding missing documents
  • Collect signatures on various forms and term sheets
  • Communicate with third party services (Title and Escrow, insurance agency, etc)
  • Complete various tasks as assigned by sales and processing managers
  • Assisting with requests and tasks needed to complete and process applications
  • Prepare and maintain all electronic documents for existing and new loans.
  • Research applicant credit status and current financial position.
  • Follow-up with clients to verify important information.
  • Collect and prepare all necessary documentation for the loan package.
  • Collecting data from clients such as their assets, salaries, debts and employment status to fill in information for the loan application.
  • Researching and correcting mistakes in applications for clients.
  • Reviewing file documentation for missing or erroneous information.
  • Submit files to the designated Underwriter.
  • Meeting loan application, processing, and funding deadlines
  • Candidates must be within commuting distance to Ortigas.

    Candidates must be willing to work USA office hours.

  • Hiring Process :

  • Resume and cover letter will be reviewed by hiring manager
  • Selected candidates will be sent a intelligence test to be taken within 48 hours of receiving
  • If chosen to move forward, candidate will be interviewed by company CEO and managers
  • Selected candidate will be offered the position
  • Training Process :

    Once hired, you will be working directly under the Loan Officers. You will be trained on how to use the various digital systems needed to process and organize loan files.

    Along with this, you will learn how to handle and prepare loan files for the sales and processing teams. Your ability to work well under pressure allows you to be a great helping hand for the processing team when strict loan deadlines occur.
