Leader responsible for the design, implementation and continual improvement of McKesson Technology’s operating model. Scope includes organization structure, work methods and processes, performance measures and supporting technology.

Leader also responsible for realization of Technology Operating Model business case.

  • Accountable leader of McKesson Technology Transformation Program globally
  • o Responsible to complete in-process transformation program as overall architect and program lead. Lead teams to complete core components including :

    Organizational Design partner with leaders to implement consistent solution team designs and drive organizational efficiency.

    This includes implementation of integrated global teams per plan.

    Agile implementation value stream alignment, team / train structure, training, train re-factoring / relaunch, on-going coaching, supporting technology

    Portfolio Management operating model

    Change and Communications focus on maintaining effective stakeholder change and engagement plans through strong change leadership and communications support

    Measures and Metrics implement consistent measurement model aligned with operating model objectives. Support teams with timely, accurate dashboarding

    Financial consolidation and common processes

    o Responsible for realization of Technology Operating Model business case with focus on ensure realization of business benefits across organization streamlining, technology rationalization, process simplification & automation

    o Partner with Transformation Office and Value Capture Office to ensure continual program and financial alignment

    Regular Transformation Office program forums and reporting

    Engagement with other Operating Model leaders on technology dependencies

    Monthly financial reporting in partnership with IT finance team

    o Key partners including HR, Finance, Strategic Planning, Transformation Office

  • Drives continual improvement and maturation of IT Operating model
  • o Thought leader on opportunities to improve organizational performance and productivity

    o Partners with leaders across MT and business to identify friction points and define improvement plans

    o Supports leaders to drive organizational improvements through direct consultation

    o Stays current on best practices and how they can apply to improve McKesson Technology performance

    o Drive programs to improve organizational knowledge and employee engagement. This include Hub program facilitation and SKILLs live platform.

  • Responsible for facilitating core technology leadership forums
  • o Responsible for facilitating key McKesson Technology leadership forums CIO staff, McKesson Technology Senior Leadership Team (MTSLT) and McKesson Technology Leadership Team (MTLT)

    o Leads planning, preparation and execution of annual Leadership conference

    o Work with leaders to continual improve leadership forum effectiveness

    o Responsible for annual scorecard development process and on-going reporting of scorecard progress

    Education / Training

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • MBA highly preferred
  • Business Experience

  • 20+ years professional experience in business or technical position
  • 10+ years in a leadership role
  • Demonstrated leadership experience facilitating across cross-functional teams with proven ability to drive alignment, resolve conflict and drive results
  • Consulting background highly desirable
