The Primary purpose of this role is to lead Client Facing for the Enabling and Above Market teams in Philippines. The objective is to ensure that HR effectively partners with Functional Leaders for their talent management and colleague engagement needs.

As the local HR operations SPOC, this role manages the HRIS (WD) and guides managers for all transactions. The incumbent is also expected to support the HR team in this space.

This role is also the point person for implementing C&B practices for all entities in Philippines with the aim to support business strategy whilst being in line with Pfizer’s Global C&B philosophy & relevant local regulations.

This role is an individual contributor and reports to Country HR Lead.

Primary Duties : BOS Client Facing

Key Responsibilities

HR partner for functional leaders in Enabling and Above Market organization units

  • Develop effective business partnering approach to ensure that stakeholders are well aligned with Pfizer global talent philosophy, HR operating model, so that they own their people strategy responsibilities
  • Support and direct leaders to leverage all HR Systems, Reporting and Analytics tools effectively
  • Provide HR support for restructurings / mass changes / acquisitions & divestitures
  • Conduct employee engagement initiatives
  • Organization development interventions change management and culture implementation
  • Ensure effective partnership and alignment with relevant global & regional HR stakeholders to embrace and bring an enterprise, corporate perspective to the decision making related to market investments and activity

    Key Responsibilities

  • Support regional C&B and Country HR Lead to implement C&B strategy and program that best supports business & talent strategy
  • Ensure strong alignment of Pfizer Philippines C&B practices & programs with global compensation philosophy
  • Conducting audits and generating / distributing required reports to ensure the administration of all benefit and retirement plans complies with any internal and legislative requirements
  • Oversee the execution of all legal and regulatory HR reports consistent with requirements.
  • Maintain standard reports and support need for Ad-hoc reporting.
  • Support of semi-annual audits and ongoing remediation activities directly subject to the findings from the auditors
  • Helping set up of new employee records in the HRIS and collecting, validating and maintaining new hire employment-related information.
  • Updating and maintaining employee data and personnel files in the HRIS for current and former employees.
  • Processing terminations, transfers, unemployment, severance, separation agreements, reductions in force, etc
  • Life and Non-life benefits administration
  • Processing employee changes, on / off cycle payments, pay adjustments, manual checks, year-end needs, additional payments, etc.
  • Includes overseeing remitting employee deductions and organization contributions to governmental agencies.

  • Other Payroll related items with support from HR Officer
  • Training & Education Preferred :

  • University degree required
  • Post-graduate degree preferred
  • i.e. MBA, MA in Organizational Development, Human Resource Management or related field)

    Qualifications

  • 6-8 years of HR experience with at least 2 years in business partner role and exposure to C&B and HR Operations
  • Demonstrated strong ability to drive HR processes and deliver top quality HR services in a fast pace and high change environment
  • Facilitation and complex problem-solving skills, along with strong process skills.
  • Good communication skills; able to engage with leaders in HR change initiatives
