But we are just getting started! We have much room for improvement and many ideas that will further shape the industry.The Internal Communications Manager is expected to build and grow communications among different internal stakeholders within Ninja Van Philippines.
With the overall objective of helping drive engagement and build culture among Ninja Van employees, the Internal Communications Manager must effectively and creatively implement different communications and engagement programs surrounding internal announcements, business transformation programs, and employer branding campaigns.
Internal communications : Gain an in-depth understanding of the company story, its people, services and operations, and stakeholders.
Strategize, plan, and execute relevant internal communication activities to support business objectives.
Write cohesive and compelling communications across a variety of formats and platforms, and geared towards a variety of socioeconomic and cultural demographics, to ensure alignment and understanding of company vision and goals, as well as disseminating relevant announcements
Own the company newsletter and other internal comms channels, planning out and writing content while ensuring healthy readership and engagement among employees.
Have a keen eye for culture and people management trends and make appropriate recommendations regarding internal communications strategy
Measure success metrics for internal communication programs and activities
Culture and engagement : Foster and develop productive relationships with company employees across all departments on both local and regional levels
Understand and appreciate the sentiments and motivations of the company’s blue-collar workforce, supporting issue resolution and people management policies within the company
Plan, organize, and executive events and other engagement programs aligned with HR, marketing communications, and commercial campaigns
Provide strategic and administrative support to internal activities organized by HR, and the operations and commercial teams
Liaise with HR and other internal stakeholders on a daily basis for the implementation of internal programs and campaigns
Issue and crisis management : Monitor and flag issues and trends within internal stakeholders that may affect business operations
Prepare for and manage employee-related issues and crises as necessary
Administrative : Ensure compliance with all company policies regarding finance, procurement, operational, and other relevant processes
Own and maintain relevant reports and trackers crucial to the department’s day-to-day operations, such as budget, newsletter readership metrics, etc.
At least 5 years of a progressive internal communications working on similar service or tech companies; or in companies / industries with nationwide manpower footprint (energy, manufacturing, insurance, BPO, etc.)
Experience in driving internal communications and change management campaigns an advantage
An understanding of labor issues, trends, and practices, as well as experience in dealing with unions and blue-collar worker groups, an advantage but not required
Strong and proven writing and oral communication skills in both Filipino and English; knowledge of regional languages an advantage
Proven experience in event and project management
Knowledgeable in doing content management, graphics design, and basic video editing
Expected to manage the Communication Team's budget (FTE, agency fees, events, suppliers, etc.)
Must be willing to travel across the Philippines
