Job Purpose :
BTIG is currently seeking a Reporting Analyst for the Prime Brokerage team in our San Francisco office. The analyst is responsible for executing reporting needs and works closely with Account Executives, Relationship Managers and Prime Brokerage Management, while also connecting and working with various other departments across the firm.
The individual will work primarily with our Advent Geneva portfolio accounting system to meet both client and intra-department requests.
Once integrated, the successful candidate will add support to various firm projects to assist with efficiency and scale of the operations.
The ideal candidate will have portfolio accounting software and reporting experience with a passion for working with data and technology systems.
They must also demonstrate a great attitude and teamwork, self-direction, the ability to take the steps to work through problems and strong communication and organization.
This role will require a dynamic adaptive and agile hands-on professional to ensure optimal processes and products in a fast-paced rapidly growing environment.
The successful candidate will become a licensed securities representative to create career opportunities while taking on increasing responsibility (FINRA SIE, 7, 63).
Duties and Responsibilities :
Support client reporting, ensuring the quality and integrity of client data in the portfolio accounting system
Oversee and direct new report requests and / or report updates from start to finish (including spec creation, testing and release)
Work with Trade Production Support and Development teams to improve and create new workflows in Portfolio Accounting system and other related platforms
Participate in projects and be a point of contact for Prime Brokerage operations
Work with departments across the organization including accounting, compliance, operations, technology, 3rd party custodians, etc.
and help to create a Center of Excellence for all things Prime Brokerage related
Requirements and Qualifications :
1-4 years of relatable work experience

Basic Microsoft Excel skills (V-LOOKUPS, SUMIFS, Pivot Tables, etc.)
SIE, Series 7 and 63 licenses preferred but not required
