Job Summary

The eCommerce Content Manager will be responsible for all eCommerce content - evaluating performance and then developing materials that will address gaps or opportunities.

The eCommerce Content Manager will work with counterparts in Impactful Branding Experience, eCommerce and Brand.

Main Responsibilities

Content Performance

  • Review and track performance of brand pages / products on Lazada, Shopee and other eCommerce platforms e.g. Brick&Mortar (B&M.COMs)
  • Come up with content optimizations that will ensure content hygiene factors across eCommerce touchpoints, and improvements / updates that drive superior performance.
  • Identify opportunities for content to improve eCommerce metrics, including Product Detail Page (PDP) Unique Views (UV) and Conversion.
  • Address content integrity issues, ensuring that pages meet division / EDGE benchmarks.
  • Provide inputs on traffic-driving communication materials to creative agencies during ad set-up and optimization e.g. headlines, captions,Call-to-action (CTAs) .
  • Be aware of brand equity and guidelines, and come up with effective materials and templates that are aligned with brand principles while being effective in driving eCommerce objectives.
  • Content Development

  • Work with content resources (agencies and marketplace / Lazada enabler) and in-house graphic artists to come up with new content projects and outputs to address performance gaps and opportunities.
  • If needed, handle copy revisions directly.

  • Monitor output of content resources (internal and external) and give recommendations to enhance / improve process.
  • Store experience

  • Evaluate and improve the overall customer experience on eCommerce pages. Define, recommend and execute content improvements.
  • Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in any Business related course
  • Minimum 4 years experience in eCommerce Content Management
  • Analytics-minded : Able to review data sources and reports, to come up with content optimizations.
  • Ecommerce knowledge : Has worked with storefronts and product pages in a creative capacity, and knows which factors affect conversion and store performance.
  • Performance marketing : Has experience with performance marketing campaigns.
  • Content development : Has experience in digital content development (preferably including eCommerce platform content development)
  • Strong Communication skills : Able to articulate and present ideas effectively
  • Leadership ability : Able to set direction for content development resources
  • Highly experienced with collaboration : Able to work in organizations with multiple departments and teams on each project
  • Curious and innovative mindset : Brings new ideas to the team, and knows how to test and learn to determine new practices
  • Self-starter and a strong work ethic
