We are looking for a
Purchasing / Vendor Assistant
with sourcing and procurement experience and has knowledge of ATL and BTL marketing.
As a Vendor Assistant, you will be assisting the Vendor Officer and being one of the primary points of contact between suppliers and the business, including but not limited to, processing all vendor accreditation and managing the vendors to continuously strengthen PMG's partnership.
Directly reporting to the Vendor Officer, you will provide support to PMG Managers and Employees as they search and find suitable vendors for the need of their brands.
FUNCTIONS & OBJECTIVES :
Assisting in looking for the right vendor to become part of the pool of vendors
Processing vendor accreditation thru follow-up emails, calls, and other forms of communication
Ensuring that all requirements are completely submitted, filed, and tagged
Communicating with vendors to ask any product or price questions
Assist in developing a system of suppliers of materials to ensure : supplier capacity, quality, competitive price, and after-sales service
Accomplish other tasks as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS :
Degree / Diploma in business management, marketing, communication, or any related course
Minimum of 1-year’ experience in purchasing department or vendor management
With sourcing and procurement experience is a must
A meticulous eye for detail
Familiar with the marketing ATL and BTL delivery, and its terminology
Exceptional multitasking skills.
Strong organizational, communication, and documentation skills are required for this position
