A Filipino-founded enterprise, one of the largest pharmaceutical companies in the country, is looking for their Human Resource and Organizational Development Director.
Job Summary :
The HROD Director is responsible for the smooth operation of the company's Human Resources and Organizational Development department, while providing direction and assistance to the Company’s Business Units / Subsidiaries.
The position provides strategic leadership in the areas of Recruitment, Compensation and Benefits Administration, Payroll, Employee Engagement, Training and Development, Performance Management, and Labor Relations.

Working with the company's Leadership, Management, and Subsidiary teams, the position helps to deliver the company’s targets via the creation, implementation, oversight, and evaluation of Human Resources and Organizational Development programs, structures, and systems, that increase efficiency, strengthen competencies, improve leadership, and maintain and sustain the overall health of the Company, which are essential in attaining organizational excellence and effectiveness.

Duties and Responsibilities :
1. HUMAN RESOURCES MANAGEMENT
Plans, develops, oversees, advises, and evaluates Human Resource Programs, projects and services in the following areas :
a. Organizational Structure, Manpower Planning, Recruitment and Staffing
b. Employee Relations
c. Health, Safety and Security
d. Employee Compensation & Benefits
e. Labor Relations
Ensures that HR Operations is consistent and in compliance with Philippine Labor Laws and legislations as well as
Directs the recruitment processes on behalf of the company and at the request of the subsidiaries at its different
stages, e.g. from sourcing inclusive of manpower search firm coordination, screening, initial interviews, testing
and short listing of candidates.
Acts objectively on requested HR actions, in consultation with the Legal Department, in matters relating to
procedural and documentary compliance during employee fair treatment cases, employee relations, and conflicts.
Effects progress on the necessary actions and / or recommendations, in accordance with grievance / complaints

Aligns quality management training programs with organization development needs, the Company’s strategy and
Plans and creates Employee Training Programs and Developmental Interventions which will support the
Designs, develops, plans, implements, and evaluates Competency Development Programs based on identified
Works with management team in identifying work systems and structure enhancement; and
Coordinates and evaluates comprehensive accountability systems including organization’s reports of results.

Assists in designing the organizational structure, identifying and defining the various functional divisions, individual roles / positions and their respective responsibilities.
Develops and updates the Company’s competency dictionary, either with an internal committee, or with a third party, to ensure all competencies are updated and correct, in order to keep the company competitive and to ensure the achievement of its goals .
Selects, trains, delegates responsibility to, and evaluates support staff.
Prepares budget reports.
11. PERFORMANCE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM
Reviews content of employee’s Performance Contract and proposes appropriate revisions.
12. RELATED ACTIVITES
