Responsibilities :
Momentum Media is looking for an experienced SEO Specialist to join our team and help us achieve massive growth targets we have in place.
We are a fast paced organisation, looking to step change our digital business and drive significant growth across our titles.
We have a dynamic team of professionals in our Manila office and are looking for someone who can add value in the role of SEO.
The Role :
The SEO Specialist reports directly to the Lead SEO Specialist, and is responsible for all search engine optimization activities on their titles.
You will be responsible for all on-page and off-page optimizations, including link building, technical audits, page speed insights, working with the content and editorial team on H1s, internal links, external links and developing new ideas that will drive significant growth in the organic channel across all titles.
Primary responsibilities are :
Conducting technical audits and managing with the dev team the solution to any issues that arise.
Working closely with the Lead SEO Specialist to develop comprehensive SEO strategies that include keyword research, meta info and tech recommendations on the sites.
Monthly reporting on keyword progress
Selecting keywords for 9 major news titles and ensuring we own them.
Collaborate with content, dsign, data, paid, social and strategy teams to build an integrated approach to SEO.
Responsible for the overall gains the SEO will achieve using any white hat tactics available.
The candidate :
Ideally you possess 2-3 years experience in successfully rolling out SEO programs, across multiple sites. You will bring examples of how you grew the organic channels you worked in.
Qualifications :
Degree qualified in Marketing, IT or similar, or appropriate industry experience
Thorough understanding of SEO and understanding of penalties.
HTML editing experience
Knowledge of features snipped and structured data
Strong English skills and ability to communicate ideas effectively
Proven ability to be strategic and execute (thinking and doing).
Expert level with GA, SEMrush, Majestic SEO, Ahrefs, Screaming frog, DeepCrawl etc.
Expert level with GTM, Search Console, Google Trends and Ads Keyword Planner.
Understanding of the Google algo for the past two years.
Passion for SEO and social factors that influence ranking, visibility and traffic.
