JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS :

The Penn State College of Medicine, Division of Transplantation, Department of Surgery is seeking a part-time Human Research Technician to be a medical record data abstractor for various clinical research projects.

Position involves meticulous search of medical records for specified disease and treatment information and subsequent data analysis duties.

Ability to communicate and interact with peers, physicians, physicians' office personnel, and maintain a positive work environment.

Strong analytical, medical data interpretation, and organizational skills required. Approximately 24 hours per week, flexible schedule.

CAMPUS SECURITY CRIME STATISTICS :

Pursuant to the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act and the Pennsylvania Act of 1988, Penn State publishes a combined Annual Security and Annual Fire Safety Report (ASR).

The ASR includes crime statistics and institutional policies concerning campus security, such as those concerning alcohol and drug use, crime prevention, the reporting of crimes, sexual assault, and other matters.

The ASR is available for review .
