First Philippine Industrial Park is looking for a Civil Engineer who is comfortable in splitting their hours between the office and on-site.
You should be a critical thinker and have sound subject knowledge of mathematics and physics to identify and solve engineering problems.
You must also possess a certain level of creativity in order to present innovative solutions and improvements to technical processes.
Also, you should be able to effectively communicate ideas, make recommendations, and negotiate project details with their team, subcontractors, and clients.
What you'll be doing :
General
Inspects FPIP and Subsidiaries construction project
Ensures conformity of work requirements / technical specifications
Evaluate change orders and request for time extension and claim of contractors
Facilitate the conduct of tests needed for the completion of the projects (i.e. FDT, concrete mix, road alignments, etc.
Coordinates and conduct meeting with contractors
Acts as Project In-Charge for assigned task
Provide in-house estimates to other department’s request
Dedicates time and effort to ESH activities of the project
Provide support and conforms to IMS standards and procedures
Provides support to the Company’s overall program
What we're looking for :
Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering
Licensed Civil Engineer preferred
At least 1-3 years of experience
Familiarity with design software, such as Autodesk, AutoCAD Civil 3D, and MicroStation.
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with a high level of accuracy in calculations and design.
Excellent time management skills to ensure project deadlines are met.
Leadership skills to effectively manage a diverse group of professionals working on one project
Ability to coordinate more than one project at a time
