PRO Wellness is seeking a qualified candidate as a Human Research Technologist 2. This position is responsible for assisting the Project Managers with the development, implementation, and evaluation of grant projects and coordinates work that advances the research mission.

The candidate will be responsible for implementing research programs in community settings using various methods. Responsibilities include :

  • Develop data collection instruments and facilitate data collection, entry and reporting internally and to funding agencies.
  • Monitor and facilitate IRB submissions, modifications and continuing reviews. Maintain proper record keeping in accordance with University policy.
  • Manage project deliverables and timelines through participant recruitment, engagement, quantitative and qualitative evaluation facilitation
  • Provide technical support to study investigators, project managers and / or community partners including facilitation of project development, implementation and evaluation.
  • Provide and coordinate trainings and offer resources to project stakeholders
  • Serve as a liaison to internal and external stakeholders through various communication methods
  • Assist with interim and final reports; prepare and maintain project documentation; and manage timelines, fulfilling project deliverables in a timely manner.
  • Position also contributes to the management of project finances and may assist with scholarly work.
  • Staying up-to-date on current field research and relevant public health topics
  • Effectively collaborates with team members through in-person and virtual communication.
  • This position typically requires an Associate’s degree or higher (Bachelor’s degree preferred) plus 2 years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.


    Pursuant to the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act and the Pennsylvania Act of 1988, Penn State publishes a combined Annual Security and Annual Fire Safety Report (ASR).

    The ASR includes crime statistics and institutional policies concerning campus security, such as those concerning alcohol and drug use, crime prevention, the reporting of crimes, sexual assault, and other matters.

    The ASR is available for review .
