The Role

As an Engineering Lead you will work in one of our release trains, supporting a group of web, backend, and DevOps engineers.

You will be heavily involved in defining the product and technology strategy for your group and will be accountable for the delivery of the products being built.

You will help grow your teams’ technical expertise and guide their development by staying abreast of new technologies and practices.

Additionally, you will work closely with your team and stakeholders to enable sustainable, effective delivery using the principles of DevOps.

Qualifications

You are an engineering leader for teams building consumer facing features

You can apply agile and lean principles to solve problems at any scale

You enjoy mentoring and supporting peers and engineering teams, fostering best engineering practices

You have extensive experience in designing and building distributed, high-volume services in JAVA

You worked with at least one cloud platform (preferably AWS or GCP) and containerization technologies

You have solid hands-on experience in building and maintaining continuous integration pipelines
