Job Description

Reporting to Learning Manager in Manila, the Learning Experience Designer will work with a team of approx 40 L&D professionals that provide learning and development opportunities to Customer Operations employees located around the globe.

In this role he / she will :

  • Design new learning to support strategic business changes (e.g. migrations) with guidance from Learning Manager or Senior Learning Experience Designer
  • Run learning design projects from start to finish (including Learning Needs Analysis)
  • Create and maintain process and training documents and lead and execute learning projects that can be technical and / or complex in nature
  • Work with SMEs across the organization to create relevant, timely and result-oriented learning programs
  • Create self paced learning material
  • Coordinate work of Learning Consultants across locations for roll out as required
  • Might deliver training and / or train others to do so
  • Administrative duties such as maintenance of training calendar, booking of training rooms, preparing training certificates, consolidation and analysis of training reports and records
  • Ensure all training delivered is logged into the Learning Management System and is up-to-date with relevant content
  • Generate learning reports on a regular basis. Provide information on and assistance to stakeholders and other groups regarding course content, availability, and prerequisite
  • Act as a resource / mentor for colleagues with less experience
  • Manage project stakeholders’ expectations
  • Anticipate and interpret customer needs to identify solutions
  • Explain difficult concepts and persuade others to adopt a point of view
  • Might work on learning projects in partnership with other learning groups / Corporate Talent and be responsible for Customer Operations part of the project
  • Lead, execute and oversee other tasks and projects as assigned
  • Strong learning needs analysis, training facilitation, and evaluation
  • Strong instructional design (catering to mid and senior level roles)
  • Strong relationship and engagement skills
  • Demonstrates in-depth Learning and Development expertise and adult learning principles
  • Excellent communication skills : both written and verbal
  • Subject Matter Expertise as required to successfully create and / or deliver training programs including understanding of related areas that affect assigned project
  • Understanding and / or experience with Customer Support
  • Understanding of the organization and the products, content, and services provided
  • Ability to produce and deliver results in an environment where stretch objectives are continually set to meet increasing customer expectations
  • Working knowledge of latest trends in Learning & Development
